Course description
Rueda de Casino is the Cuban ring dance variant of salsa. Some of the figures will be familiar from regular salsa in pairs and are also used when we dance salsa in a circle, that is, Rueda de Casino. Other figures are most common in rueda and are taught in this course.
Level and previous knowledge
Beginner in Rueda de Casino.
To ensure good learning of Cuban characters and develop as a leader or follower, it may be a good idea to attend a salsa course in parallel, so that you also practice the dance in pairs.
Partner information
When registering in pairs, select “pair registration” and first register one participant. Then click “Add new participant” at the bottom of the form, instead of “Confirm registration”, and fill in the details of the partner as well.
When both participants are registered, select “Confirm registration” and proceed to payment.
Price terms and surcharges
The course is slightly cheaper when registering in pairs.
Discounts
Quantity discount: Discount on courses number 2, 3 and 4 in the same course round, 19 October to 7 December 2026. Selected in the registration form. The discount increases for each additional course and is automatically deducted when paying.
Student discount: NOK 100 per registration. Bring a valid student ID when attending.
Senior discount: 100 kr per registration for those over 67 years of age.
Member discount: 100 kr.
You can sign up for a 2026 membership here (125 kr).
Membership provides discounts on classes and other SalsaNor events, such as the SalsaNor Rueda Congress and one-time concert and social dance events.

How to add a subscription
Apple Calendar
On Mac, choose Archive → New Calendar Subscription and paste the link. Select iCloud to view the subscription on multiple devices. On iPhone/iPad, add a subscription calendar in your calendar settings.
Google Calendar
On your computer, open Google Calendar in your browser. For Other calendars, select + → From URL. Paste the subscription link. You can then view your calendar in the mobile app.
Outlook
Open your calendar in Outlook on the web. Select Add Calendar → Subscribe from the Web and paste the link.
Other calendar
Look for Subscribe to Calendar or Add from URL in the calendar app. Paste the subscription link. If the app can only import files, use the download below.
Download the course dates
Add all course evenings to once. This copy is not updated automatically. Repeated import can create duplicate entries.
