Maité Myking

Maité Myking has been a permanent instructor at SalsaNor for many years, and teaches both Cuban salsa, rueda de casino and various special courses in Cuban dance.

She has a 4-year education as a dance teacher and choreographer from Cuba, and has also worked as a professional dancer at the dance company JJ in la Havana. She is a specialist in traditional Cuban and Afro-Cuban dances, and therefore has a wide repertoire to draw from.

Prior to SalsaNor, she has taught at Latinroom, Danseglede and C-baila in Oslo, and also at SalsaNor in Stavanger, both at courses and festivals. She is a professional, experienced and very popular instructor.
