Get ready for the highlight of spring within Rueda de Casino! The first weekend in April we will be visited by renowned Cuban instructor Reynaldo Salazar, who, together with our own Cuban dance instructor Maite Myking and her husband and dance partner Olav Myking, invites you to a Sunday full of rueda fun.

  • Date: Sunday, first weekend in April
  • Location: Dancify, Eikenga 11 (free parking)
  • Time: kl. 11:15 am (registration)
  • Workshops: 3 different rueda workshops, with level adaptation.
  • Please respect the level.

  • Sunday pass (3 rueda workshops): NOK 850
  • FullPass (Sunday + Cuban Live Night Saturday April 5): kr. 1050
    Includes party at Skatten Oslo, party class in Cuban salsa at 20:00, La Gozadera concert and rueda/animations with Reynaldo.
  • Single workshops: kr. 320 per workshop (no member discount on single-WS)
  • Member discount: kr. 100 on both passes.
    (Limited number of places.)

Cuban Live Night Saturday, April 5

Cuban Live Night is organized by SalsaNor every other month at Skatten Oslo. This Saturday , Reynaldo Salazar is our special guest!

  • 20:00 Party class in Cuban salsa (basic level)
  • 21:00 The doors open, DJ Sezar and La Gozadera play two sets (the first approx. 21:30). After the concert, there will be a DJ until 02:30.

About the instructors

Reynaldo Salazar
From Santiago de Cuba, with solid dance experience since he was 8 years old. He has taught at several major Cuban dance festivals, including SalsaNor’s Rueda Congress, and runs his own dance school in Germany. Known for his infectious energy and high competence, Reynaldo has choreographed for the famous rueda company Santiago ALL STARS.

Maite & Olav Myking
Maite has been a SalsaNor instructor at SalsaNor for many years, and is a well-known dance instructor for many in Norway. She is a trained dancer from Cuba and danced in the dance company JJ before moving to Norway. Here in Norway, she is one of the foremost instructors in Cuban dance, also in rueda de casino. Her husband and dance partner Olav also has extensive course experience and is an excellent teacher. To have this couple as instructors at an advanced level this weekend, is really a treat for everyone who joins!
