This is a complete basic course in Cuban salsa. It is an advantage to have takenthe introductory course first, but not a requirement. In the course, experienced and patientinstructors go through all the necessary steps and figures at a basic level. The course is alsosuitable for those who may already dance a little salsa or have taken a basic course in salsa before.During the course, we become confident in the salsa rhythm, in the different basic steps and learn the mostcentral salsa variations in pairs. In addition to learning new characters, we are constantly concerned thateveryone should feel that they have mastered the dance, and focus on how we in the dance should leadthe partner clearly, and how the partner should be led.After this course, you can move on to an advanced level if the content of this course feelssimple and you master it well enough to use it on the social dance floor. Weoften recommend taking the basic course several times, and not moving on to the next level until you feelconfident with all the syllabus from the basic course. After the basic course, one is also ready to start at Rueda de Casino; Cuban salsa as
a ring dance.
